LiquidPlanner Integrates with Box for Improved Document Collaboration

Box has made a business of being adaptable. At this stage there must be very few online business applications that it doesn’t integrate with. It works with Google and Salesforce, and today, it has just announced that it will work with LiquidPlanner.

Project Collaboration & Management

If you haven’t come across LiquidPlanner before, it’s a project management system that offers users the possibility of priority-based predictive project management that takes into account the increasingly complicated workplace.

In fact, according to LiquidPlanner it is the only such product in the market that enables disparate teams to work and collaborate on projects from a distance. But clearly, the makers realized that it doesn’t do everything and have turned to Box to enable it do more.

Box, it says, will provide with cloud-based document management. Okay, it doesn’t sound as sexy as social business or social collaboration, but document management is still one of the big needs of all enterprises despite the agonizingly slow move towards the paperless office.

With Box and LiquidPlanner combined, users will be able to attach documents stored in Box directly to projects and apply all those functions that we know and love in Box to those documents.

Document Support is Key in Project Management

Some of things that LiquidPlanner can do with the Box integration include versioning, permissions administration, access control and desktop syncing, user permissions and… well, document collaboration.

Add to that the native capabilities like rich project management with range estimation, priority-based scheduling and automatic resource management, and you’ve a pretty interesting solution.

For Box, if you want to be top of the game, then being able to work with as many different systems as possible is key. With the explosion in demand for collaboration and project management capabilities for disparate teams, LiquidPlanner is a good solution to integrate with.

For LiquidPlanner, the fact that it works with Box, and that Box is – according to its own figures — in 82% of Fortune 500 companies, means that LiquidPlanner will have exposure that it may not have already.

Of course, it will also be an attractive proposition for clients of both companies and it seems that there are a number of companies that are already using the two products today.

Integration with Box is available immediately to existing LiquidPlanner customers at no additional charge.
